  • by

Today is the Fourth of July, otherwise known as Independence Day. We all celebrate in different ways, whether it be watching fireworks, having a barbeque, gathering with family, wearing red, white, and blue, or remembering the journey the United States has experienced to achieve freedom.

Some people may think about the American Dream. It is the idea that every citizen in the United States has equal opportunity for success by working hard. The American Dream can be different for everyone. Some may look at it as a chance to motivate themselves towards prosperity. Or some may look at it as a second opportunity to explore and show resilience. Hope is something that makes today a time to celebrate. Our nation has been through many triumphs and defeats throughout history, and hope is what keeps a lot of us moving forward. As we celebrate, let’s continue to rise and uplift each other. When we create a space for each and every person today to share their dreams, hopes, and goals for the future of our nation, the more we can realize our own American Dream.
