The Global Movement gets support through individual participation on our global social media platforms. That is where you can uplift a person yourself or an organization to bring attention and appreciation to those who are out to make a positive difference. We are a service and benefits company but we are not currently a nonprofit, though that is where we are headed. At this time, those who feel so moved to do so offer financial contributions. These are not tax deductible, but our 100% is used to fulfill the mission of Up In The Chair.
On our Facebook group, Uplifters -- A Community to Uplift and be Uplifted, and Instagram are both great places to start. But, you can uplift anyone anywhere anytime. The best way on social media to uplift someone is to share about who they are and why you are uplifting them and then tag them in your post so that they are sure to see it. You would also use the #UpInTheChair and #Uplifting so others can also see all the ways in which you are celebrating them.
